Full of baloney

We have a customer at work who comes in quite often and always greets us with an overly-enthusiastic "Isn't it a glorious day!!??" At first I thought it was amazing that this guy was so positive and up-beat! After a few years, I'm beginning to think that he might be full of baloney. Everyday is not glorious and amazing. Some days are common, some days are sad and some are just plain rotten. How do you trust which ones are really great, if you never hear about the ones that are bad? The danger is to drift into the opposite scenario where everything is always a downer, always a crisis! When I'm happy, I'm happy. When I'm down, I'm down. I just want to be real.

I have been keeping a journal since October 20th 1999. I was inspired to do so by the late philosopher James Rohn. I wish I could say that it was a "daily" journal...but  I have skipped entire "years" let alone days! I plan to dip into the old journal for some of my favorite "musings" and then continue those thought calisthenics here in my "MUSINGS" category.  Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy!
