Week #38  Squeaky Wheel

1/12/2018

Squeaky wheel gets the grease
Forgiving heart beats in peace
Crying baby to the breast
Mother always knows what’s best

Fleeting thoughts a flock of birds
Giving wings to weighty words
Seeking rest and finding none
When contemplation is all done

Spinning globe that we are on
This comet blue around the sun
Hanging on for our dear life
Until the spinning ride is done

Flock of birds are lifting off
Rush of wind beneath the wings
All conforming to the plan
Voicing noise and other things

This squeaky wheel is spinning slow
Mama’s lap is gone I know
Birds have flown the air is still
Round and round and round I go
